Heyyyy @taylorswift you’re favorite dynamic dueo, @brittanyswift13 and @kingofmyhxart was suppose to be seeing you in Atlanta, GA for Capital One JamFest on April 5, 2020. But sadly it got canceled due to the corona virus. This was the era we found each other, Lover was the first album release era we spent together, and it was the best summer of our lives. Hopefully it will maybe be rescheduled or we can figure out how to get tickets to Lover fest, hopefully that will be rescheduled too. There are so many struggling people in the world right now and it’s heartbreaking to see the stories. I’m so grateful that Taylor has been able to support some of the genuine people and fans that have supported her over the years. She’s made such a difference to all of us in general before her generous donations!
I have always been a Swifty, just not actively online. I’ve taken this quarantine to reflect on the fact that I need to show my support and admiration of Taylor more. It’s also made me realise how much I’ve missed out on getting to know so many amazing people in this fandom of all ages. I’m personally grateful to finally have people to talk to about Tay who actually care and listen and join in!
I’m sure many other new online Swifties had this revelation also (totally get you!). However, I’m struggling to understand how some of the new Swifties claim to have been fans of Taylor’s for years… after finding out she has been gifting money to some of her amazingly hard core supporters. Theeeeen, within a short amount of time Paypal or some other money sending app pops up for people to pay them money and to get Tay’s attention.
It’s not wrong to ask for help from people… Just be honest about your intentions rather than trying to use such a kind soul as Taylor and pretend to be her friend and loyal fan.
Anyway, I know a lot of the stories are real and the people are genuinely struggling. I wish you all the best.
